YSL TribToo Toe Cap

 

As fans of the YSL’s signature TribTOO pump,  we were excited to receive a new style in this family of classics.  FW11 introduces the TribToo Toe cap.   With all the hallmarks of a classic, this is an investment buy.

We currently have the ToeCap in Black nappa leather with amazing stitched detailing.  The effective heel on these are 105mm, but the actually height is marginally taller than the normal TribToo 105 pump.  The platform is also slightly thicker so they will have the same  effective height and thus comfort level as the original 105s.

YSL Oval Ring - Gunmetal

 

The dark gunmetal tone Oval Rings with Malachite centre stone has finally arrived.

These were ordered over a year ago and we are pleased that they have arrived.  So many customer have been asking for a silver tone version and this one with the stunning Malachite stone is just stunning.

If you already have the gold, you now have a reason to buy another one – who knows if or when they will produce this combination again?!

We also received the Fushia Oval rings, however the glass centre piece has changed and looks more glass-opaque candy pink, compared to previous seasons which were smokey or striped.  We will have to take new photos to capture the colour so stayed tuned.

YSL : The New Y-Mail Collection

The original patent Y-Mail collections was extremely and the clutches and wallets were particularly popular. Well now a selection of Y-Mail products has been produced in a leather Vintage-look leather with contrasting lettering and leather lining in either purple or colbalt blue.
We have both the continental and the long Zip wallets instore now. Priced at $650 for both styles. These will not be carry over to SS11, you have been warned - it may be you last chance.

Taking inspiration from the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar (US Edition), highlight on “the Drawstring Bag” and “Hobos”, we have put together a selection available at Cultstatus now:

1) Balenciaga PomPom. Available in giant hardware, giant covered hardware and classic hardware.

The Pampille Cross featured in the editorial comes in 2 sizes, but we have only ordered the medium. The “Cross” refers to the perforated “X” shape cutout on the leather. the floral version was recently featured in Marie Claire (US Ed - August). Not arrived yet, but due in Nov/Dec in a few colours.

2) Alexander Wang Diego – a classic for Wang and one of his best sellers. Try the Velvet cut for something different….as seen on Kate Bosworth.

1) Lanvin Cabeceo Hobo (as featured) - an elegant Hobo in a quilted leather. Available in Black and blue.
